Privacy Notice letter (Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003).
Dear Customer, we wish to inform you that the new Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 makes provision for the protection of natural persons and other parties in regard to the processing of their personal data. According to the Decree, such data processing will honour the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights. We therefore provide you with the following information, pursuant to Article 7 and 13 of Legislative Decree:

  1. Data processing purposes and methods.
    Your personal data will be used for purposes exclusively instrumental to and associated with the fulfilment of obligations arising from dealings with our Company and in particular:
    • for the insertion records in the company’s computer databases;
    • for the fulfillment of current or future commercial and contractual relationships;
    • for the keeping of accounts;
    • for commercial information;
    • for the fulfilment of obligations based on applicable regulatory provisions, rules of civil law and tax law and EU legislation.

    The data will processed with the use of IT tools or on hard copy medium or any other suitable type of medium, in compliance with the minimum data security measures pursuant to the Technical Regulations relating to such measures. Annex B of the Consolidated Law on Privacy.

  2. Nature of data collection and consequences of the non-provision of data.
    The provision of data is either:
    • Mandatory, for the purposes associated with obligations under law or other applicable binding regulatory provisions; or
    • Necessary for the proper institution and continuance of the relationship established with you.
  3. Communication and dissemination of data.
    Your personal data, for the purposes of implementing the contract and for the purposes indicated above, may be communicated:
    • to all natural and legal persons (law offices, administrative and tax offices, accounting firms, couriers and shippers, data processing centres etc.) whenever the communication is necessary for the purposes described above;
    • to our collaborators and employees who are specially appointed for the purpose and within the context of their functions and duties (commercial, logistical and administrative);

  4. Rights of the data subject.
    You may at any time exercise your rights against the Data Controller pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June, 2003, which we reproduce for your convenience.
    1. The data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.
    2. The data subject is entitled to receive an indication:
      • a) of the origin of the personal data;
      • b) of the purposes and methods of the processing means;
      • c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
      • d) of the identification particulars of the Data Controller, of the Data Supervisors and of the representative designated pursuant to article 5, subsection 2;
      • e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom/which the personal data may be communicated and who/which may come to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, Data Supervisors(s) or Data Processing Operator(s).
    3. The data subject is entitled to obtain:
      • a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
      • b) erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;
      • c) certification that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, also as regards their contents, to the entities to whom/which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right to be protected.
    4. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
      • a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, although relevant to the purpose of the collection;
      • b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where done for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling, or for market or commercial communication surveys. The rights referred to in Article 7 may be exercised by sending a request to this effect to the Data Controller or the Data Supervisor, without special formality, also through an appointee, who should receive a suitable and prompt reply. The request to the Data Controller or the Data Supervisor may also be by registered letter, fax or email.
  5. Data Controller.
    The Data Controller is the Company Nanni Strada Design Studio with headquarters in Via Goito, 7 20121 Milano (MI).
  6. Data Supervisor.
    The Data Supervisor is: Nanni Strada.
