Domus Academy is honoured to host Fashion Designer Nanni Strada on 25th June. Nanni Strada will give a lecture to Master’s in Fashion Design and Product Designstudents, unfolding the innovations she made from the 60’s in terms of weaving processes and inventive use of material finishing.‘Dwelling the dress’ is a key concept of Nanni Strada’s products, conceiving the dress as the first space to live in. Her Design process involves ideas of mobility, performance, sustainability and hybridisation, in order to create timeless collections beyond mainstream fashion trends.
